Product compliance & quality technical specialist

As a Product Compliance & Quality Technical Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring that the products produced and imported by vidaXL meet (local) safety requirements and regulations.
Our products are sold in 5 continents and 30+ countries. You are able to stay abreast of changes in legislation and regulations in different countries and domains, and translate these regulations into action points, to ensure that our products are always compliant.
You are confident and professional in discussing or presenting matters with external authorities.

You go:

• Research product requirements and regulations in different countries. You do this both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues. You also ensure that the results remain up-to-date.
• Monitoring that a wide range of products comply with regulations;
• Identify, collect and analyze product data, enabling decision-making regarding product compliance and/or quality;
• Communicate with teams in different locations around the world to ensure standard procedures are followed;
• Prepare to implement regulations within our organization.

You have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (chemistry, electronics or other technical fields);
• Relevant experience, for example in a certification company or test lab, is a plus;
• Good command of the English and Dutch language - both written and oral;
• The ability to analyze, summarize and translate technical requirements from standards, guidelines or regulations into workable steps/processes;
• Good communication skills, you are able to participate in written or personal discussions with external authorities.
