Private Equity Intern in Munich - Transaction Team Internship based in Munich, year-round applications possible

Position:

As an intern, you will take on an integral role in Orlando’s Transaction Team and support the investment professionals in assessing potential investment opportunities and in running due diligence and investment processes. You will benefit from working closely alongside our investment professionals, helping you to further strengthen your analytical and interpersonal skills. Specifically, activities will include:

  • Identifying potential investment opportunities, reviewing offering memoranda as well as preparing and participating in management meetings
  • Conducting commercial and financial analyses to identify value creation opportunities
  • Financial modeling and supporting the structuring of acquisitions
  • Supporting portfolio development (implementing value creation measures, working on selected finance related projects, identifying potential add-on acquisitions etc.)
  • Preparing and supporting sale processes of portfolio companies

Experience and requirements:

You have completed/are completing your studies (Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a business or economics related subject) at a top-tier university, have solid business analysis and corporate finance skills and a profound interest in private equity. Furthermore, you have the following skills and experiences:

  • Outstanding academic credentials
  • First internships in private equity, investment banking or strategy consulting
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Passion, dedication, energy and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player mind-set
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel in particular)
  • Excellent German and English language skills

Duration: At least 3 months
