Hristo Lakov - Treasurer

My name is Hristo Lakov, and for the Academic year 2023-2024, I am the Treasurer of the SCOPE board. I am 21 years old, from Bulgaria, and recently finished the 2nd year of my bachelor’s in International Business: Emerging Markets here at Maastricht University. I initially decided to join SCOPE in September 2022 as an active member, where I became the external relations manager of the Emerging Markets Trip committee.

As the Treasurer, I am responsible for the proper management of the cash flow, I manage the company's liquidity, make the financial statements, take care of the budget and etc.  My job also involves forecasting the association’s financial needs, identifying potential income sources, and planning for potential expenses.
