Our first speaker, Lars Hamers, holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business economics and a master’s degree in international business and business research from Maastricht University, where he graduated as one of the top-performing students. He also spent a semester abroad at UC Berkeley and holds a PhD from Maastricht University. After his academic career, he joined DSM as a Finance Specialist and is now a Technical Accounting and Reporting Expert at dsm-firmenich.
Our second speaker, Louis Beete, holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro as well as a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies and a master’s degree in work and organizational psychology from Maastricht University and participated in the PREMIUM Honours Programme. After graduating, he gained experience in HR and is now a Human Resources Specialist at Belden.
The success stories event aims to shed light on the two SCOPE Alumni's success in their professional careers and to highlight their development, achievements, and learning experiences along the way.
In the first part of the event together with our host, we will dive into the career paths of our three participants and their personal and professional growth in an interview style. The event will then shift to an open Q&A, where you will get the chance to get your questions answered and gain first-hand insights into possible future career paths after your studies.
To conclude the evening, there will be the opportunity to network over some casual drinks.
