General and Alumni Pillar
The General and Alumni Pillar focuses on activities that don’t fall into one particular category, such as the skitrip and parties from Partylovers. Next to that, they organise the events for our alumni. Laura Knüfermann, Lorenz Cronenberg, Paula Majunke and Nour Marry are responsible for the activities from the General and Alumni Pillar.
My name is Laura Anna Knüfermann, I am 18 years old and the Managing Director (G&A) for the upcoming year 2018/19. I was born in Houston, Texas, USA but have lived most of my live in Bonn, Germany. I like to participate in extracurricular activities, such as study associations, sports and volunteer work. I also enjoy spending time with friends, read and travel. If I would have to describe myself in three words I would probably choose open minded, ambitious and communicative. I have been an active SCOPE member since February 2018 and have worked there so far in the committee Seminars. My goals are mostly to continue SCOPE’s work from the past year in creating many great additional opportunities for all SBE students in the next year. Additionally, I would like SCOPE’s different pillars to work even more closely together and develop strong and efficient teams. I am really looking forward to the challenges the new year brings and hope to work to the best of my abilities to contribute to SCOPE’s work.
My name is Lorenz, I am 20 years old and originally from Arnsberg, which is close to Dortmund. My favorite activities are skiing, going to the gym and clubbing. My position for the academic year 2018/2019 will be Academic Coordinator and I am looking forward to perform as best as possible! My goals for my board year in SCOPE is to stick to the strategy of my pillar and try to do the best possible job to coordinate my committees toward the goals of our strategy.
„We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.“ (Aristotle)
My name is Paula Majunke and I’m a European Studies student taking over the position of Community Coordinator for the General and Alumni Pillar this academic year.
My goal for this year is to make every new active member feel welcomed and appreciated in the Scope community. I am especially excited to be part of the ski trip organising team and hope to create a memorable week for all participants.
My name is Nour Mansour Marry, I am 20 years old and the new General Member Acivities coordinator. I am Egyptian and lived all my life in Cairo where I studied at the Lycee Concordia Du Caire. I am an open minded, social person, and like to work in teams, since I believe that group work can generate higher outcomes. I spend my free time watching football, playing sports, going out with friends and listening to Music.
My goal is to create a friendly, creative and interactive environment for general members by organizing interesting activities that motivates the members to interact together and get to know each other more. Thus, I belive that they will be willing to achieve greater outcomes for the Organization.
